The Pursuit of Perfection – Non Surgical Treatments

Moy-Fincher-Chipps Facial Plastics/Dermatology (MFC) is pleased to announce an exciting new menu of non-surgical treatments that go further than ever to restore that highly sought after ‘youthful radiance’.

Nestled amongst some of the world’s most prestigious retail stores – Valentino, Hermes, Christian Dior – the Moy-Fincher-Chipps Rodeo Drive penthouse location boasts the most technologically advanced anti-aging equipment available today, including a long list of lasers designed to address all types of skin problems.

Affirm & Affirm Multiplex: skin tightening, acne scars, pigment removal and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles
Ruby laser: reduce appearance of birthmarks and hyperpigmentation, remove brown age sports
Pellevé: skin tightening that lifts cheeks, jowls, and forehead
Sculptra: restore volume and improve facial contours
Thermage: tighten and contour skin, reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Fillers and injectables join the list of popular non-invasive options at MFC with FDA-approved fillers including, Dysport, Restalyne, Botox and Juvéderm.

At MFC the goal is to offer the world’s most technologically advanced treatments to deliver flawlessly radiant, youthful looking skin without surgery.  “The facelift is still very much around,” said Eddie Fincher, partner at MFC, “but it is being delayed until well into a person’s 50′s and 60′s.  With the effectiveness and efficiency of today’s fillers, the need for cutting has been delayed,” added Fincher.

“Another noticeable trend is the more natural looking lift”, added fellow MFC partner, Lisa Chipps. ”The over-filled, overly plumped look is beginning to lose popularity, especially with patients who want a very natural look,” added Chipps. “At MFC, we focus on each individual’s face, his or her lifestyle and work environment or profession.  What works for one person might not be appropriate for another.  We take the time to evaluate and make recommendations  on the overall aesthetic of each face we look at,” added Chipps.

When is too much, well just too much? In a recent study, a focus group looked at a number of before and afters of women in their 40′s and 50′s who had received various facial fillers.  The resounding result was that the women who had been overly filled and, therefore, had no lines at all (nabial folds, crows) were voted “less attractive” than the ones who still showed some lines and folds.

“The reason,” says Fincher is simple.  “When the face becomes too flat, there is no dimension to it. It doesn’t look necessarily younger, it just looks flat and rather uninteresting,” Fincher added.
